SCS was thrilled today by Loni Martz Briner of North Shore Railroad. She fascinated the students with information about our local railroad and how it services local business and businesses throughout North America. She discussed railroad safety and had students sign a pledge at the end to stay off of train tracks because the tracks are private property and dangerous. After the pledge was signed the students were given North Shore swag bags filled with information about trains, train safety and other promotional North Shore items. The flashlights were really popular. LOL
