Faculty & Staff
St. Columba employs nine full-time teachers (including two religious sisters) and one full-time teacher aide. There are six part-time faculty who teach Art, Computer Technology, Music, Physical Education, and Pre-School. The Pre-School teacher is assisted by one or more teacher aides. Staff from the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU 16) provide bi-weekly student support for Math, Reading, and Speech/Language Therapy. The CSIU also provides a Social Worker and a School Psychologist for students in need of these services.
In addition to the three R’s of all schools, we add a few more R’s: Religion, Respect, and Reverence. The program at St. Columba School is imbued with the teaching of religion and the formation of Christian principles. With religion classes, prayers each day, the sacrament of Penance four times a year, and weekly Mass, spirituality is both taught and caught.
You are the primary educators of your children; we at St. Columba School will assist you in your great privilege.
